Visit and Wander at SunwayWell, this blog is about both the sad occasion and so called "happy" occasion.

As what I was informed by JG that this morning planned to visit his cousin, JE who fell off his bike in Sabah on last Thursday as what I was told..then he was admitted to Sunway Medical Centre for treatment..

As what had planned, some Kumon mates and I went for the visit with 4 cars..before that, we, JG, CS, KF and I went to JG's mum store to have a breakfast..then we headed to kumon centre where we usually gather before depart..

Reached the medical centre around 11 something almost 12 pm..visited JE and luckily he just injured his right shoulder..feel relief but he had to postpone his final in Sabah..we had some fun chat and jokes around as to avoid any boredom..all were led by TL, BK, KF and JG..but one thing..pity for Jamie as she was taken as a subject for some of the jokes...feel speechless for that..all those were jokes and all of us got along well with each others at such environment but frankly speaking the Sunway Medical Centre facilities were well managed as I cant really doubt about all these..really speechless...

Then we decided to make a move as the visiting time is almost over..Then we (JG, TL, Jamie, KF, BK, CS and I) proceed to the next station~~~

Well the previous is about the visiting stuffs and then next is the so called relaxing moment was here as we went wander around at Sunway Pyramid..so magnificient as we passed by the road we could see branded cars parking along the road side..so so amazing..BMW, Fair Lady, RX-8 and so on...my mouth was widely open stunned looking at those cars...and also the environment there..so so different compared to Klang..frankly speaking...

Parked our cars at the basement and took the escallator to the shopping complex..first we went to the munchy's promotion booth as there were a number of female promoters promoting their respective stuffs..we ended up with BK bought 3 boxes of his favourite biscuits...then we proceeded to Subway for our lunch..for time for me and I went to have a try on it and it was something new for me so far I have had a burger...*thumb up*

Next, it's wandering time..we walked around the complex from the lowest floor to the highest one and vice versa...the environment there was so so different and for me if got money can drop by here every day but just that this is for those who are too free at home doing nothing...

Then, around 3 plus, we decided to call it a day as some of us looked tired and wanna have some rest...

Reached home around 4 plus tiring yet satisfied with the trip...

That's all..Adios~~Kien DeedWell, basically from the title readers can easily guess what this topic will review at...Good Deed?of course doing somethings beneficial to others..

Hmm..let the story goes this way...today is the first day of the second week of my Y1 S2..so today I ended my class of the day at 4pm and later went to consult the lecturer for some clearer views...so by the time done already around 4 plus and all the Utar buses have departed except one the one I supposed to board..but I waited for so long and went to ask the driver and get to know that the bus was not in used today because it will be sent to puspakom for checkup according to the driver..then we both have some chats and the driver washing his bus and checking for the smoke for the exhaust...helped the driver pressing the accelerate pedal to release all the carbon in it and he went to look if the smoke was reduced...to ensure tomorrow check up is smooth...XD

then I wandered around the campus and walked to the cafeteria and bought a Cloud 9 chocolate and consume it as I walking around just to wait the time to come...while wandering I saw my last semester lecturer who taught me CAD and I was so glad to see him again as this helped to flash me back during my Y1 S1 last year June...

Since the Wangsa Maju bus was down, then I had no other choices but to board the Melati bus to the Lrt station..just in time I get to queue up in the front to ensure a seat...at 5pm, the driver came and started the bus engine and collected the bus ticket and I got to sit in the front seat alone..waited for about 5 mins, a female student came and boarded the bus and at that time all the seats were full and she came to the front and the driver offered her to sit on the dashboard but I offered her my seat and I stood all the way till PV5...then I grabbed a seat as they are available now and I got down of the bus when it reached a junction near Lrt Melati...then so coincident that girl whom I offered seat to came down with me and we crossed the road and walked to the Lrt Station...while walking she thanked me for the seat offered to her and she continued by introducing herself with he name June, a Johorean (just know the name sound but not really know the spelling)..according to her she was from Actuarial Science Y2S3 and I did intro myself to her...

Due to the time being, we both managed to ask about our personal details and I dare not ask much as I don't know her so much..but one thing I was glad to have a new friend...boarded the lrt (128/228) at 5.24pm and she went off when it reached wangsa maju as she stayed at Metro View...woohoo..reached Asia Jaya at 6.01pm..felt so nice having a new friend just doing a small small good deed...hehe

I think that's all about this post and Adiosss...Kien Restart Since Oct 09Well, today is my first day of my Y1 S2..initially I really can't get used to the life since I have being working for 3 months though 3 months time is quite short I think...frankly speaking after working for 3 months I do really feel that I not in the mood to study but I will push myself to study for my future...must cool myself down putting the working life a side and concentrating in my studies...

Basically, started off the day as usual taking public bus, LRT(117) and shuttle bus...and reached Wangsa Maju LRT station around 8.30 am and boarded the Metro bus to university...after 3 months away from Utar, most things changes; FGO office shifted to ground floor of SA block which is much much convenient to Utar students to make any appeal or enquiries...

wandering around till 10 almost 11 went to S block for Maths tutorial class but there was a notice stating shifting of class from S block to Sa block...then fine..walked all the way from S block to SA block and met Florrie half way the journey and left both os us entering the class...sigh..she called her friend and was told that the tutorial class was canceled...then I was left alone doing nothing but I went for lunch at the cafeteria..then went online at the library and I met WQ there chatting and discussing our latest timetable we registered previous months ago..

Then around 2 almost to 3 pm went to DK 3 for our lecture class..since today is the first day so we ended the class a little bit earlier...While waiting for the bus, I went to check out the timetable for my practical...then the time is ngam ngam for the bus to depart to LRT station...

As usual CK and I both took LRT(440) which was new back as he will go off at Pasar Seni while Asia Jaya my go off station...After the Pasar Seni Station, beside me was empty as CK went off to catch a bus back to Puchong..then till KL Sentral, some passengers went out and some went in..so coincident, a teen girl went in and sat beside me as there was the only seat left available...wow..quite nice looking girl and I was a bit shy as I was sandwiched by 2 girls..and there were contacts via hands by accidentally and due to insufficient space I accidentally touched her bag and our arms got touched as the train was moving left and right...that moment was quite pleasant as this was the first time happened to me...

As everything will have a starting and ending point and by the time the train reached Asia Jaya I had to go off and I can't do anything as I don't even know her and I was a stranger to her...LOL...

On my way to the bus stop being stopped by a promoter promoting Fitness First and boarded a C.Liner bus back Klang...this time I've met another friend so coincident met Joseph in the bus and we chatted fora while and luckily the traffic was not that jam as I was few minutes earlier before the jam started..sigh...

Then thanks to Joseph too by sending me back to my grandpa's house..hehe...

I think that's all for this post and will be looking forward for the next post..Adios...Kien with Kumon MatesAt first I don't know about this outing until Monday night JG told me about that...This outing we went yesterday night after working session and Jamie and SY asked for lim teh session...and Jamie recommended to us some places and finally we chose to go to Shamugam which is next to Berkeley Corner...

Waited for staffs and students to go back and having a chat among us at the ground floor..laughing and screaming all the way although my friends wearing kumon shirt except me...XD

Finally, we shall make a move for some drinks as time was running out..JG drove his car-pooling KF, BK and me while SY drove hers accompany by Jamie...off we go!!!woohoo.....

Reached there and we can't be surprised that the stall was full of youngest like us though there were few senior citizens...ordered our food and drinks and chit chat around among us talking various of topics and watched WWE Jamie's favourite TV show..LOL..blah blah blah...

Voiced out some of my viewpoints since I worked in Kumon and expressed my thoughts during my services for that company...but I having one feeling of reluctant to let go that tutor job as I really get used to it though the duration is short...

Around 1 plus, our phones kept ringing as a sign to say GOODBYE!!!for safety purpose we decided to split..Jamie and SY bid a goodbye and a wish of good luck for me and I do appreciate them very much...

That's all for now..Adios...Kien 2 DayHmm..this post by right should be posted on the Thursday, Jan 14 but couldn't make it as time constraint...

Well that day was my second last day before I stopped Kumon a while to continue my studies...

That day, I found that some of the students that I guided were very good but not all...from that day, I found that who was my favourite student..after guiding students for so many times and till the last 2 day before I stopped, I found ONE...for me doing reading and guiding with her is a pleasure and the processes went very well and smooth...after the reading we have some fun talk since there was no students waiting and it will be the last time guiding her and I do gave her some advice and asked her to keep practising the the flashcards as she was new to it...at first she refused to do the flashcard but after some persuasion being done, she tried her effort in it...and for me Practise Make Perfect so I told her to practise more and she will get better of it later on...

Then, went for dinner around 7 plus and I get to try Melissa's mum homemade walnut cookies...not bad, the sugar content was moderate...*THUMB UP*

In the end of that day, have some fun talk, laughing with Juin Giap, Kah Foong and Boon Kiat while waiting for staffs and students to go home...

I think that's all for now...CYKien to KumonWell, this post is actually about my last day of working in Kumon which was yesterday Jan 15 before I resume back to my new semester which will be start on the Jan 18..since Oct 09, I have promised Miss Lee that I will continue working till my semester start..so I make up my mind to work till the last day of the last week of my 3 months holidays which start end of Sept 09...

Initially it was tough to let go this job since I took months to get used to that job...though at first I hoped for a Maths tutor job but I was granted a English tutor job which at first I find it quite tough for me but as time passed I really get used to that job though it was tough for me at first..however with the mental strength and the initiative and also the willingness to learn new things really help me a lot to get along with the system there..frankly speaking the Maths and English department both have its own system...from what I have heard from one of my friend who was teaching Maths higher level, he really tensed a lot marking students' worksheets...as we know for Maths, it more emphasis in their workings...

Till now, I could guide a worksheets until Level CII, though people may say that level is low but it is not...for me that level can consider quite tough and to do well, the student must give a lot of effort in it and not for the sake of just doing and pass up...

Hmm, back to the topic, as it was my last day, I make full use of the tutoring time doing the reading and explaning...and for some students, before they leave, I gave them some useful advise in learning..hope that they could absorb what I have counsel them...as a teacher, we also hope that the students can learn well and have a better knowledge to live in this society nowadays...

During yesterday working period, we were quite free in the afternoon and early evening...and I have my earliest dinner since I worked there...I ate my dinner at 6.15 pm...to my surprise, when I walked to the pantry, the dining table was full with 2 empty seats left...XD
went to wash my hands and start eating my dinner and what make me feel a bit shy was that all the stuffs eating there were women; Jamie, LSY and 2 new stuffs...and later on Miss Lee came in and had dinner with us too sitting next to me as there was an empty seat next to me...WOOHOO!!!FIRST TIME!!!feel glad but a bit shy but what to do..appreciate that moment of course as it was my last day...don't even know if there will be another chance to meet up again...sigh...

Then after eaten my dinner and left Jamie and me and Teacher Christina and Rina came in for dinner too..as I have some time left over so planned to stay in with them chit chatting...but Jamie gave me the food she leftover as she could not finish it..at first refuse to accept it but after few time persuaded me then I finish it off...really shy leh...sigh...

Soon just left 3 of us, C, R and me...we had some fun chat but I seldom interfere and just keep an ear on what they say and laughed...what a time foe that...really apreciate that moments a lot...

Went to my place and continue my guiding job..and soon students kept on coming in and soon became a big crowd..but we managed to clear the students fast and maintain the pace...

Finally, most of the students have being cleared before 10 pm and just one doing reading till 10 plus...Signed off around 10.15 pm...

That's all for now...Adios!!!Kien SummaryLast Friday(20/11), being guided by a teacher on how to mark higher level worksheet at Kumon as there were few students coming in due to most of them came in the evening..At first I was busy marking all the worksheets/homework so that the staffs can prepare the following worksheets for the students..to my surprise Teacher M.Y requested me if I able to mark higher level worksheets(level D&E)..for sure I will go for it and she guided me the marking process..actually it was a good news for me as I get to know the marking scheme for higher level..xD

On Saturday(21/11), went for a haircut with my mum as she was going for it...

Sunday(22/11), spent the whole day at home...

On Monday(23/11) and Tuesday(24/11), teacher M.Y was late and will be coming at 6 pm..the atmosphere at Kumon is different..as normal I did my part - marking, guiding lower students for reading and doing my worksheets...

Wednesday(24/11), woke up a bit late and managed to go for breakfast and later my dad will be going to Banting with his friends for praying stuffs...spent the whole evening with my little brother at home - he played his P.S and I played the C.M while facebooking...around 5 something went to sweep the floor and mop the floor...

Thursday(25/11), went to Kumon for work a little bit earlier as my dad had an appointment with his friend..reached Kumon about 1 something and a new stuff opened the door for me as most of them were busy with the Christmas decorations...signed in and helped them with the decorations as some of my friends planned to go for some food as it was already late afternoon...so I took over their place for the decorations..as I was done with the decorations we tested the lighting stuffs to make sure all were in good conditions...then each of us back to work at our respective places...

Friday(26/11), it was a public holiday..so it will be an off day for me...:pKien HourAs usual this was my 4th week working at Kumon and seem like I enjoy working there though I don't get along well with some of the people there as I'm an introvert type..xD

I think I should make some changes to myself of being a bit extrovert compared to last time!!!sigh

started my working hour b4 2pm as today the center open since morning..as not many students came for class in this evening and there was also raining non-stop outside..so I went to mark all the students' worksheets and finally was done with it..and now it was MY TIME!!!~my turn to do my worksheets...lol

due to less students came in that period of time so I took the opportunity to do my worksheets..as what I feel as I do the worksheets I can feel that I took much more time to finish off a book of worksheet...thus I decided to battle with the time to finish as many worksheets as possible in a day..as I knew that 3 months holidays is a short period of time and will pass in a short while so I took this opportunity to improve myself to a higher level as I could manage..though HYPOTHESIS had been proven that~the higher level you go the more difficult it will be...but it is fine for me as NO PAIN NO GAIN!!!hehe

just in time b4 the pick hour starts as students coming continuously, I managed to finish off a level of my worksheets..BRAVO!!!but I went for my dinner around 7pm...rest time is here...

went to the mamak bungkus 1 packet of nasi lemak and went back to have my dinner at the center as outside was raining and the weather was so so cold that time...never forget my worksheet...proceeding to the next level though the next level take me some time to do it...xD

having dinner in the dining room with my 2 working mates..having chitchat there while having dinner...but one thing thanks Jamie for the hot milo she made for me..hehe..really paiseh that time..don't really know her but she did me a favour..really appreciate it..THANKS JAMIE!!!^^

as time goes on my dinner time was over and time to get back to work and I had to postpone my worksheet...to my surprise the English department was empty with no student at all compared to Maths department...so I proceeded with my worksheets till the next students proceed to me...

guiding the students and marking the students' worksheets till the working hour stop with no chance to do my worksheets after all...but its fine for me as tomorrow I will be there for the worksheets!!!

till then..Adios!!!Kien 23/10wow...2nd birthday celebration and of course it was the different person..and this time was Jamie, one of my Kumon mates celebrating and count down for her 18th birthday...haha...

this time no more station 1 and also bukit tinggi...and this time was at Centro's Flavour...this outing also the 1st time for me as i never been to here for quite sometime already...

as we goin to give the birthday girl a surpirse, all of us acted when we were at Kumon..some of them pretended to go off early and some left behind to close the door...2 of my mates brought her to hang around somewhere else as the others went to Flavour..Melissa told us that we must put on our respective mask on our face as a surprise to Jamie...

this time no pokers and games but the jokes still on...we laughed the whole night again...the minutes passed 12, the birthday song was sang and Jamie got a surprise then..XD..and the real real surprise was Melissa made the birthday cake and we should thank her for that...good job mate..hehe...

and photograph session was on and we took some photos as souvenirs and to be tagged on facebook...

i think that's all for now..see yea...Adios!!!Kien 19/10This week was the 2nd week that I worked at Kumon...to my surprise all the stuffs here are quite ok with each others and for sure there will be jokes around especially we went outing together after working hours...XD

To my surprise I went for 3 consecutive outings with my friends in just 1 week...wow..frankly speaking I never had this b4..hehe...

Started off with last Monday, Oct 19 went to bukit tinggi station 1 after work with my Kumon mates to celebarate Melissa's birthday..whao..never had that happy mood b4...no doubt that bukit tinggi was crowded with ppl and of course station 1 was also fully packed on that day..luckily we could manage find a table which was sufficient for us as quite a number of ppl attended...

Once we settled down, for sure conversation started off as the waiters and waitresses asked for orders 3 to 4 times but no one had made up our mind what to drink...the woman had their's and the guys had their's...as all of us had arrived we ordered the drinks and some tid bits...

spending the whole night till 12 am...playing pokers and telling jokes and we laughed whole night non-stop...till the moment b4 12 the surprise was here..the birthday cake was here tonight...hahahaha!!!the stuffs at bukit tinggi station 1 were quite coorperative as they made some noise as the cake was taken to our table...wow..so so amazing..this is the first birthday celebration that I had ever since attended...XD...

Around 1 plus we ended our celebration as tomorrow we need to work again and also all of us were very tired after a day of working and partying...

till then...Kien Tionghttp://www.blogger.com/profile/15378429540417350227noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1132979901959733103.post-44736663328278887512009-09-03T22:29:00.002+08:002009-09-03T22:44:32.797+08:00Soloman...So fast 14 weeks of Year 1 Semester 1 going to end soon..

And this week is the 14th week and some of the lecture classes were canceled as all the syllabus for all subjects were done..

Having my Maths tutorial at 9 am in the morning till 10 am..and the attendance was not that good as normal day as some had planned to skip classes...

The attendance was getting worse when we were having Material Science tutorial with our class members attended not more than 10 people...and we do combine the tutorial class with some Y1 S2 students..but it seems like doesn't make any changes...LOL...

What stunned me was the coming next practical/tutorial class for programming..To my surprise, all my friends leave the campus as there will be a mid term test for this subject tomorrow from 6pm to 7pm...as this subject taught today will not be coming out for mid term thus most of them skipped this class..

As my tutor came, he was shocked that I was the only one left solo attending the practical class..the environment like one-to-one study..one tutor teaching one student...SOLO!!!

Unexpected!!!

Without wasting time, we started off the class as usual and finished off around 4.30 pm...and I need to head home and prepare myself for the mid term test tomorrow...

Adios...Kien a day!!!Journey to the Campus

Started off the day early in the morning as it was raining heavily..open the door and I could feel the fresh cool air from outside..its really nice for me and i enjoying inhaling those air for quite sometime..

Next I went to prepare myself for school and the heavy rain really troublesome as I might get myself wet when i was on my way to campus..

As I woke up, I could only know one thing that is I haven't finish memorising my script for my today presentation as I had done half way last night before I KOed..at the same time the rain is raining heavily as I was in formal attire and hope not to get myself wet..As I was preparing my mum suggested that she will drop by me at the KTM station and the traffic in the morning is better so it was not a big deal for her..

Reached the station around 6.15am and boarded the 6.30am train..at first I thought it was so so early and there will be many empty seats inside the train and I was wrong and there were only a few seats available and I could managed to have a seat so I could continue with my script...

As time passed, I realised it took about 1 hour to reach KL Sentral..without wasting time, proceeded myself to the LRT platform heading to Wangsa Maju..Luckily I managed myself for that as the queue getting longer and the lrt will jammed with working staffs...

Soon reaching my destination quickly hired a taxi to the campus as it would save my time as also prevent me from getting wet...

The time is Here

As I reached campus, I ponteng the class practising outside of the class as the presentation of other groups in progress..Soon, the 2 hours gonna passed soon as my group turn is around the corner...and also my heart beat is so so fast and could heard the 'toop toop' sound coming off from my chest...

As our tutor came in, we got to know that we were the third group to present and I could only think of I will present spontaneously as I normally do when I was in a nervous yet exciting situation...LOL...

As our turn was here, we started well and I was the first speaker followed by Siak, ZY and Gladys...Each of us do have our time limit of 5 minutes to present as my time just pass 5 minutes and its ok as what my tutor told me because it just exceeded few seconds (<10s)...

What impressed our tutor was Gladys, the last speaker conluding the presentation with some recommendation...

One thing that I would like to stress of was saying "WELL DONE MATES!!!"~without our hard work before this, we do not have those moments...

As the class over, we dismissed and headed home as there will be no classes after that...As most of my friends did not plan to go back hometown thus we went back to their respective rent house as I and my the other friend, Gladys took LRT as she wanted to go to Kelana Jaya and I going back to Klang...

Sigh..WHAT A DAY!!!

That's all from this post and looking forward for another post..Adios...Kien CallAs usual, today I have my English for Engineering lecture at 8 a.m..due to the boredom of students towards this subjects certain students chose to skip the lecture class though it was boring anyway but sometimes it really help us in some ways..

As yesterday my undertaking course groups had our last lecture class ended at 7 p.m..as for us it was too late..so for those who away from home planned to go back to their hometown as they planned to skipped today classes..but we having one doubt over will our English lecturer held a pop quiz for us as part of our coursework?for those who skipped today class don't know whether there will be a replacement for the quiz..

As planned, some of them decided to skip the "boring" class as the class started so so early..at first when the class going to start, the number of students attending the class were extremely less and till the lecturer said "I give you all 1 minutes to call your friends come because I will held a pop quiz"..to our responses, we all got shocked and stunned and some went to call their respective friends to come over as the quiz carry certain marks for our coursework...

Some even worst, some of the absentees called their friends to sign the attention for them as to avoid being barred from examination...

And the time is here..but we ended up with pair work with two respective students who being called out by the lecturer were required to present the instructions to operate an OHP projector...at first, all of us thought that this is the quiz that we were going to do but end up with the lecturer saying "hmm, since we do not have much time left so we will postpone our pop quiz to next week"..sigh..

Since that, all of us were "bombed" with his statement..Kien Visit to PC Fairhey hey hey...PC FAIR is here again..its in KLCC now starting from today...

as usual today Friday and I finish my class early and i have the chance to have a visit to PC Fair..though i need to pass by KLCC via LRT...so i take this opportunity drop by and have a visit there..besides that, i also need to survey some of the devices there maybe the price tag there is cheaper..so never miss this chance as not all the time will have...xD

hmm...in short class finished at 1 pm and i went for lunch with my friend and waited for 1 hour for the bus service to the LRT station..this is my first time i went to PC FAIR...so this is something new for me though...upon reaching KLCC i felt a bit nervous and of course excited for sure worry that I would lost my direction when I wandered around looking for my items...

When the door opened at KLCC lrt station I could see many passerby walking in and out of KLCC..HUMAN JAM!!!at first I was totally lost and only manage to follow the crowds' direction...upon reaching a T-junction, I saw a info counter and asked for the venue..such a long journey like going on for a pasar malam walk...LOLX...

Because the path is only 1 direction, so I started my journey from the conference hall..once entered the hall, guess what I saw?its a place for gamers with pretty and cute models promoting the latest PC games for the customers..wow..so so amazing..I was totally speechless at that moment and proceed myself to the next hall..next was the centre selling all the parts of the PC including laptops..upon walking, I saw the Canon booth and I dropped by requesting for my desire items..but I failed to get it because they did not sell that specific items here as that item was "pirated" for them...so before leaving for the next station, I had some talk with the Canon promoter on the latest release items but I rejected that offers..

Next, I proceeded to the next and also the final hall for the last visit..guess what I saw here?it was the Canon booth again but this station they were promoting cameras..here there was a stage specially ofr Canon group because they had few models posing on that stage promoting their items..sigh...so many people and also photographers taking the photos of those models..haiz..so sexy man those models..so amazing...

Upon heading to the exit, I managed to buy 2 boxes of refills as there was promotion on that...after that, I headed to the exit entrance to head home as the time is late because traffic jam soon begin at PJ...

This was my first first VISIT to the PC FAIR...the atmosphere there was so maginificient especially at the first 3 stations...

ok then..need to go now..looking for the next post...

Adios...Kien & SportLast Friday just finished my Fluid Mechanics test and decided to prepare myself for the upcoming test on this coming Wednesday.

Spent the whole day tackling all the Maths tutorial questions from morning till evening. MATHS FEVER!!! - addicted to MATHS!!!

Till evening around 6 plus plus went for shower and preparing myself for badminton with my friends in eng ann court.

Reached the court around 7.30 pm warming up my body for the next match...

During the matches played, there were lose and win as today we only have 6 persons came...Though lose some of the matches but I do enjoy myself outside there. Sigh..don't know why make some mistakes causing us losing that set...But we do have some interesting rallies during the matches..attempted some drop shots, smashes and also some net plays...

We do take turn play as the loser side was eliminated and the new fresh pair entering the court. From this, we might have rematch with the previous pair either defeated us or tamed by us..

Around 9, I had to go as I have to have my dinner after this..Cycled home in 10 minutes time and went bathing as it is already late..

After dinner, going to resume with my Maths tutorial as I was planning to make an appointment to meet my tutor to discuss some difficulties I encountered...

Hmm...I think that's all for now and I'm looking forward for another post the other day...

Adios...Kien />once heard of this word, JAM people will think of the spread of fruit boiled with sugar which can be consumed...

however this post entitled JAM is related to the traffic and human...

Started the day in the morning traveling to UTAR - KL campus via bus and LRT.. 7 something in the morning edi start jamming at the federal highway all the way to sunway..sigh...but one thing - the jam was blind..you can't see any accident occur and anything bad happen but all the vehicles were slowing down due to some selfishness of certain people nowadays...

Reached Asia Jaya almost to 8 and waited for the LRT for 4 minutes..know what next?
This time no longer traffic jam but HUMAN JAM...this happened in the LRT itself..all working people and also students boarding the LRT to their own destination..all of them squeezed here and there just to got themselves comfortable and support..from my analysis, majority was working people compared to students...

This human jam jammed all the way from Asia Jaya to KLCC..imagine there were several stops in between..others passengers had no chance to enter the LRT as no one get off from the LRT...sigh..feel pity for them..waited for so long but can't enter due to the limited space provided...Once the LRT reached KLCC, I felt relief as there were a lot of empty seats all the way to Wangsa Maju..sigh...

All the above is regarding the morning session and now come to the evening session...

As usual, today my last class ended at 5 pm and I went to thermo lab for some guidelines for my lab report...after all, plan to head back to Klang but the UTAR bus departed edi so I had no choice but to walk to Wangsa Maju LRT station as time is not much left and the day gonna turn dark...

this time the condition of the LRT was better than the morning one..

Reached Asia Jaya around 6 plus and I can see traffic jam at the federal highway..REALLY SPEECHLESS!!!

took the city-liner bus back Klang..as traffic jam occured, all the passengers including me have to jerked every moment from PJ to Sunway...when upon reaching Klang, there was a jam again..this one happened immediately after the sg. rasau toll...this jam occured because of the selfishness of the drivers who can't wait for their turn sand start cutting line by intersect the outer lane causing some vehicles can't pass through...sigh...

And again upon reaching Berkerly, there was jam and this time was jammed from bekerley all the way to the Klang bus station...though it was jamming but all the vehicles were moving in a slow pace..but I managed to get back here b4 8pm...sigh...finally I"M BACK!!!xD

I can't imagine I could stand so long for hours (solid 2 hours) in the bus without sitting and jerking occured in between...

That's all on this post to be shared around...SIGH!!!

Adios...xDKien Night AppointmentKinda tired after going for badminton at Setia Alam but finally make up my mind to blog this moment to be share or even be remembered...

hmm..

Started off the moment by receiving invitation from friends and also permission from parents for badminton that night..After all, having one common problem which was "I need a car"!!!Because of my friend can't drive tonight so I take this opportunity to pay back them by asking my mum to grant her permission to borrow her car...To my surprise, to grant that permission wasn't difficult though as I only need to help her wash her car to grant the permission to borrow her car...sounds good right..xD...As everything was settled, prepared myself and my badminton stuffs before heading to fetch my friends...

Reached Setia Alam around 7 plus and I was surprise that we were earlier than the others..while waiting for the others, I had a stroke with my friend warming up our body and also our muscles after one solid week no badminton for me...

Went for the first game partnering with RH versused SK&KC..this match we had 3 sets with my side won the first set and went losing the remaining 2 sets due to some unblamable mistakes made..sigh!!!

In the first set, we started off well by leading them 10-0...wow!!!but the next 2 sets were challenging as the score was quite near to each others..however I had learnt some skills via this match...

Had my next match against a new pair, TS and SY...in this match we just need to sets to settle off them but 4 of us really played at our top form...Before heading for an exit as the booking time almost ending in few minutes time and RH and I against TS and SY once more as they seek for revenge..However, my side went on winning the match with they were trailled by several points...

As the next group of people coming to the court, we headed to the washroom to cool ourselves...take our own sweet time hanging around there cooling down as we sweat a lot during the badminton game...

The next station was going to KC's house as his house organising a barbeque party and since he had invited us so we planed to go along to have our free meal...LOLX...as we reached KC's house some of his family members were out there chatting and some were still barbequing there..as all my friends reached, we went for a light meal having nasi lemak and "hokkien mee"...then of course went on for the "cooking session"...we had chicken wings, otak-otak, hotdogs, as even also with some last minutes offer of luncheon meat which shaped like hotdog...we really having fun there-chatting while eating...

Around 12 plus, we headed home and fetched SK back home...Though tired but seems fun after all that moments...

I think that's for now and now I need to head for my bed!!!xD
Adios...Kien (FES) OrientationThe new intake for the degree of engineering courses starts this week with ice breaking and tele-match held by the seniors of FES yesterday.

Thought of writing this blog yesterday but couldn't make it because kinda tired after 3/4 of the day spent at UTAR, setapak.

hmmm..let start with the journey to setapak with my usual transports, bus and lrt putra. Reached Wangsa Maju around 7 something and walked for 15 mins to uni. Though walking is not really safe there but I had to walk as the public transports took durable time to reach uni and the UTAR bus passed by by the time I reached Wangsa Maju.

Reached UTAR around 8 with some students already there. Some were there for studies and the remaining one for the orientation activities. Hang around the compound and sat at the cafeteria staring at those students heading in and out busy with their stuffs.

Started registration around 9a.m and I was assigned to the purple group with two facilitators. Next moving on to the warm up session with all of us stretching our muscles as part of the activites. After that, we had the chance to mix around chatting with other people from different groups. Then we moved on for the station game.

Throughout the games, we lose all the games except for one and only one CHARADE...

Although we lose all the games but we enjoyed the punishment with water poured onto us and ragging us. One thing was that, we lose with pride.

After finished off the station games, we moved on to the next part which also the last activity of the day. Guess what..We were required to build a tall and creative tower with straws tied with rubber bands. As the time given was only 15 mins and we can't make it on time. The winner for this session was the blue team.

After all prize giving were done, the chairperson of this activity was bullied by all his exco and members and also senoirs.

Though it was fun but felt kinda tired of it as I need to travel back to Klang.

That's all for now.Adios!!!Kien Tionghttp://www.blogger.com/profile/15378429540417350227noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1132979901959733103.post-48068923333176820382009-05-28T20:56:00.002+08:002009-05-28T21:53:43.038+08:00New Semester New Environment4 weeks of semester break finally ended last week and today was my first day of my new intake for my degree course. This time the campus was not at pj but at setapak. Though all my lectures classes start next week but this week will be orientation days with all the activities organised by the seniors here.

Started the day woke up at 5.15 in the morning and started doing all my stuffs before I head for university. Done by 6.30 in the morning and could managed to catch the bus to Asia Jaya. Even though it was still dark outside, you can see endless vehicles passed by. Luckily there was no traffic jam during the journey. sigh...

Reached Asia Jaya at 7 and went to Wangsa Maju via LRT Putra 234. Initially the number of passengers were very less with lot of spaces unoccupied. As the lrt reched Abdullah Hukum "human jam" began with a large number of passengers came in. I was satisfied with it as I had enough space for myself to stand. As it reached KLCC, most of the passengers left the lrt with a surprise there was plenty of empty spaces in between.

Upon reaching Wangsa Maju, so many passengers lining up to catch the lrt luckily I came out on time as the door will closed automatically. As heading to the exit, saw one of my friends and we walked to uni as it was the first time for me and them. Moreover, I was not familiar with the place there.

Walked for 15 mins and finally reached the main gate of UTAR and can see some seniors waiting to guide us to the respectives venues. Went to a class for registration. After that, I had a chance to have a talk with one of the lecturer. Upon reaching the lecture hall, some of the seniors were at the entrance door attract us to join the ice breaking seesion this Saturday and the city tour guide.

Inside the lecture hall, we were briefed with all the rules and regulations and the course structures of respectives courses. Ended the entire briefing around 12 almost to 1 in the afternoon. Went for lunch with my friends and had a chat with some of my friends.

Around 1 something, heading home via taxi to Taman Melati lrt station with one of my friends.

Kinda tired after the first day and soon will be get used to it.

That's all for this post. former school a.k.a HIGH SCHOOL KLANG...planned to go early but ended up going late because of some undone house chores to be done immediately and cant be left to be done the next day...

Reached there at 4p.m and surprisely there were not many people playing there but out of 4 courts, all were fully used up but luckily there was 1 available so started warmed up with one of my form 6 friends...

After my gang of friends finished their lepaking, we had a double match..the first match was interesting but i ended up at the losing side but its ok for me to some mistakes...

Went for the second double match but this time with different partner challenged a fresh pair...this match was even much much interesting than the previous one and this time i ended up at the winning side...YEAH!!!!!

Rested for a while but the weather today was so hot and my friends cant stand it and decided go for some "ice" a.k.a "ang tau peng"...since so long ExerciseToday early morning went to Padang Sultan Sulaiman for some exercise in the meantime take this opportunity to breathe the fresh fresh air a.k.a O2...

Reached there around 6.15 a.m and chatting with some of my frens while waiting for my the other frens...after getting bored chatting for 15 mins, we planned to go round the park...as usual wat I saw was all the aunty aunty and uncle uncle jogging, marathon, walkathon and also doing some exercise via their body parts - the head, hands, legs...

As for us, while waiting for my frens we went for the slow walk on the track with stones on it...it was painful at first but after a while I get used to it...Although ur sole was painful but it was really fun...

Then, my frens went to the playground playing the swings, see-saw and I was doing nothing there and planned to go for jogging on the track alone but some of my frens came with me for the jogging...

After jogged round the track for half an hour, I completed 10 rounds running round the track with the constant speed...As I jogged, I was accompanied by the sound of the musical instruments rehearsed by the band from Raja Mahadi coz later the school are having sports day at the stadium...

After the jogged, we went to the Royal Klang Club (RKC) for some sports...

Haiz..it make me feel frustrated coz all the facilities were well-equipped but some of the facilities we cant used coz we are not the members of the RKC...however we spent some of the time playing badminton and squash there...

Since the time was running out, we went off and headed for our breakfast at Hai Thiam Loh since there was 10% off...

That' s all for now...now feel tired but satisfied.....Adios!Kien Friday went back to HSK for badminton since now on semester break...Haiz..reached there late coz busy with my stuffs...anyway can get to play seems satisfied dy...

At first, as usual start with the stroking as my warm up...smashed here and smashed there dun know in or out also din bother...

Later went to play a doubles match winning 2 sets...whao...can considered a bit kan cheong but not that too too over...

After winning the first match, being called by next team to play another match...but this time was the senior versus the junior a.k.a ex-high schoolians versus the high schoolians...before starting the match edi feel the tension since the opponents are too strong for us...but conversely we put up a good fighting spirit against the opponents...must have the confident but not over and the fighting spirit can put up an extreme and kan cheong match...

However, we played for 2 sets instead 3 sets since the opponents are too kaolat but with the teamwork and form we went on winning the match...so unexpected!!!This victory for me was just a sweet memory but during the match done some unforced errors...have to improve myself on that...

After playing for 2 consecutive matches, decided to go for rest and look for another doubles matches...but some of my frens planned to go for food but some rejected...instead makan they planned for drinks...

All my frens went off liao just left me and my fren...we din go coz they drove but we cycled...

Since having available court, my fren and I went for stroke...this time I over stressed myself until no energy to smash even run...need to build up my stamina edi...even i smashed with full strength the shuttle went out of bounds or not I also dun know...haiz!!!

This time I nvr bother bout that...Wat I wan was to hit the shuttle hard for fun at the same time release my stress...

Stroke until 6 p.m, stopped the stroking and went for our yam cha session...

At night, another yam cha session at mamak with my fellow frens chatting this and that...

Looking forward for another post...

See yea.....Kien few weeks off din played badminton edi so today plan to go with frens since received an invitation call edi an hour ago...

We played from 7p.m to 9p.m..but we played until 9 sumting since there was 1 court available and was free to be used...for me I preferred playing doubles since I'm not that pro like Lee Chong Wei...

When I reached all my frens edi reached and some waiting there...since they r waiting I decided to go out to take some air since inside there was so warm...lack of O2...lol..in the meantime I can see other ppl played basketball ma...wht a second alternative for being at eng ann court...

After few minutes wandering there, so I'm back to the badminton court to see they sort of player anot...as I walked at see ppl smashing the shuttles and I was called to play since the previous match was over liao...

Haha...the first match I lose...mayb it was a warm up match for me or the opponent too strong for me...but I really worked hard to score the points making few mistakes...haiz...humans tend to make mistakes ok...

After the 1st match, I went for the 2nd match partnering with different partner versus a new pair...haha..this time the match was really fun and 'kan cheong'.....during the game there were some rallies - making some returned smashes, dived and stretched the body to return the shuttle, playing at the net, smashed the shuttle for twice or more in few seconds and so on...this match we won the 1st set and lose in the 2nd set...so we went on to the rubber game known as the decider set to determine who was the winner for that match...in the final set my partner and I put up a hard fought, we went on to win the final set...YEAH!!!so happy about that and I was really having fun in the 2nd match...

Then, I went to take some rest since I had played for 2 matches consecutive...

After rested, I went to play another doubles match but this time with another new partner...this match was another 'kan cheong' 1...winning the 1st set but lose the 2nd set...however we went on to win the third set since it was final set...haha...what a game...

After the match, I went to drink some water and was called to play another match...this match can say a bit 'kan cheong'...this match we only played for 2 sets...during the 2nd set, my partner joked to us to aim 1 of the opponent and I rejected him for his idea..so I restarted the game with me serving the shuttle...during the rally...I smashed the shuttle and guess what happened next???some1 kena headshot!!!!!arrgghh...somemore was a gal...SORRY really SORRY for what had happened and it was an accident...immediately I went to see her condition and apologised to her for wat I had done and she said she was fine and ok...luckily ntg serious happened...haiz...all was my partner fault la..saying what should not be said..see what happened liao...but i din blamed him for that since I was the 1 who caused that..ppl say wan kena 4D also not that so easy and accurate..just a word of joked and that thing happened next with a sudden...feel guilty for what had happened.....so we continued the game...

This time just play like random with some smashes...everything went as normal...although lose in this match but I really enjoyed myself and try to improve myself from the experiences I gained...the winning sets were the memories for me but the losing part sets were the lessons for me to improve myself...so next time can put up a 'kan cheong' matches...

Then I went to take some rest since edi 9++, so I decided to take some rest since edi 9 sumthing...so I packed my stuffs and watched other ppl played...about 9.30p.m we departed from the court and where was the next stop???

As usual lo...its yam cha session...we went to mamak - chatting there, watch football, talk cocks until can see penguins around u and so on...

Since tmr is Monday and some of my frens having school and some have to attend college so we went back at 11 something...

I think that's all for now and looking forward for the next posts...

Adios.....Kien in PJ and Fun Time in KLThis morning I've reached Asia Jaya by W.Bus at 8.10a.m after jamming all the way from Batu Tiga toll. I thought I will be late for the consultation for Writing for Science with Miss Phaveena but my bus driver managed to get there on time.

When I reached there, I rested at Menara Axis while waiting for Liang Khoon who also jammed in the federal highway. By the time 8.15a.m...we headed to UTAR and reached there at 8.40a.m and Raymond was waiting for us at the PA foyer...Then, we go to the preparation lab looking for Miss Phaveena had our consultation with her for about 1 hour plus.

After that, we had our another consultation with Miss Lim our Maths lecturer and tutor. From the consultation, my friends and I had learned extra new things about Maths by using scientific calculator. From that moment, I realised that the calculator has lots lots of functions. After being taught, I was speechless bout that and addicted to it and started pressing it none stop.

Around 11.30a.m..we almost done with our consultation and discussion and started chatting among ourself with Miss Lim.....The last discussion with her is about the poster competition and each TD need to send representatives for the competition which held by UTAR for the first time.....my group consists of 3 members and are eager to win the competition because the posters done will be display in UTAR...

Aren't we proud of that if we won the competition? Then we dismissed and my friends and I went for fun time.....

Initially, Raymond planned to bring us go SS2 for lunch but the plan failed because of no parking there...To avoid being 'samaned' we go for plan B which is heading to 1U...

When we reached 1U, we saw a lots of cars and wondering what they are doing at 1U...having lunch?so Raymond parked his car at B1 and we go wandering around 1U looking for nicer but cheaper food.....

Once we entered the complex, we went rounding the places, taking the escalator up and down and finally decided to go for Hong Kong restaurant named 'Wong Kok Char Chan Teng'.....all three of us had our set lunch there which costed only RM9.90 excluding tax each...

At first, we had fruits and soup as our appetiser...then Liang Khoon and Raymond had fried 'tang hoon' as their lunch while I had lunch with rice and fried chicken there...however all of us had the same drink...the atmosphere there was superb and we really enjoyed ourself there.....

Around 2p.m...we went back to B1 to get Raymond's car...and Liang Khoon and I went to pay the ticket via Autopay...after that Raymond dropped by us at federal highway and both of us take bus back to Klang...tat's all for today and we really enjoyed ourself and plan for another fun day in KL.....

That's all for now......XDKien Tionghttp://www.blogger.com/profile/15378429540417350227noreply@blogger.com0
